Delicious yakhni Pulao
Chicken 1 1/2 kg
Rice 1_1/2 kg
Salt 3 _1/2tbsp levelled
Fennel seeds 2 tbsp
Coriander seeds 2tbsp
Whole all spices ( sabut garam masala ) 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Yogurt 1/2cup
Finely Chopped tomatoes 2_3
Tamarind paste 2 tbsp
Vinegar 1tbsp
Green chillies chopped 6_7
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Water 9 cups
Oil 1_1/4cup
Method
For stock
Add whole coriander, Fennel seeds, whole all spices and 3_4 cups of water and cook for 10_12 minutes, strain stock.
Fry onion slices in oil till light golden add in chicken and ginger garlic paste fry for 5 minutes add peeled and chopped tomatoes, salt , yogurt, Tamarind paste, and cook until chicken tender add all remaing ingredients and water+stock and add 45 minutes soaked rice and cook on full flame, reduce flame and cook for 10 minutes.
